A VERY LONG week.

And it's not over. This has been one of those "busy every evening" weeks, and add that to the stress of finals, and, well, I'm just pooped. I have had a headache two straight days, and tonight I just decided I can't do one more thing. I've had Jen to dance one night, and volleyball another. I've had dinner with my cousins, and taken a photography class. I've also presented at school to the incoming freshman parents. And tonight was the math dept holiday dinner. And with my headache, I decided to opt out. All of these things in addition to normal workdays make Kay a very tired teacher.

The layout is from last weekend. And as pictures are printing I have 5 minutes to post. I like this layout, and have had some realizations about my scrapping. Here's what I believe. My style is kind of out right now. The "Freestyle," fun style is in vogue. And to be honest, I love the style. I have mentioned before that even though that's not my style (I'm too math teacher for that), I think that book, along with Elsie's book have been the biggest inspirations for me in the last year. That along with the clean, amazing style of Cathy Z. But the reality is I am somewhere between those two styles. And right now, that's not a good place to be. So what to do? Do I change my style? Can you indeed teach an old dog (that's me) new tricks? Not this pup. I just can't do it.

So what to do with this information? I'm not sure yet. It's just my reality right now, and I'm trying to come to grips with it. Wish me luck!

Well, I must just be 'out' then, too! :-) I have loved your style ever since I first 'discovered' you on KMA and still love your style today!! Be true to yourself...after all, when it all comes down to it, our memories aren't about what's 'in style'.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

Well, I LOVE your style and would hate to see it change. I agree with Jill be true to yourself. This hobby is defintiely to each their own. you have the knack for using patterned papers and embellishments together without detracting from the photo. To thine ownself be true.

Keep on scrapping.
